For location next to Kejimkujik National park it can’t be beat. (5 minutes from the entrance.) Only camping at the park gets you closer and all competitors are 45 minutes to an hour away. The inn is under new management after the place being closed for a while and as they get the place up to speed expectations should be managed. Breakfast is good basic fare, eggs, and bacon or sausage and a wide variety of cereals and yogurt on offer. Coffee is good. Note that in the area there are only two places to get a meal (the park cafe or the Hollow Log in Caledonia just down the highway (kitchen closes down at 6:45 pm. So if you plan more than a brief stay plan on driving 45 minutes to and hour for dining (then back) or (as we did) stop on your way in to bring some picnic supplies. The liquor store in Caledonia is open later than the lone eatery.

This is a great place to stay! The rooms are nice and clean and the have a games room. The games room has a pool table, tv and seating, a custom arcade style cabinet with games and a PC. There is a pool. It looks nice and clean. The breakfast was yummy. The property is nice and secluded. I spoke with the owner who is extremely friendly. He let me know he's putting a lot of work in to the place to spruce it up a bit and fix up a few things. Go try it out!

We spent a delightful night here on a quick trip through NS. It is a wonderful B&B, a hidden gem. Close to Keji NP, and far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our room was splendid, and the service provided was great. I would definitely stay here again!

Close to Keji park. Comfortable and clean room with full breakfast every morning. With 8 rooms in the house I’m surprised how quiet it is. I can barely hear anything inside my room. The house is over 100 years old so you can see some old features and modern renovations done. The lot is huge and I made friends with their goats!

Were here with family of four, kids age 12 and 14, stayed in the housekeeping apartment. Wonderful experience. Place has a great country vibe and our apartment although a bit rustic had been well provided for all our needs. No A/C but fans in each room kept us very comfortable. The host made us feel at home and relaxed. Has some work to do on the pool and game room but they were in good enough shape for the kids to have a great time anyway. Lovely relaxed environment for a family. LOTS of space to spread out. This place will only get better in future as it is under new ownership and owner is working hard to fix it up. Great location right by the National Park.

Staying here was the best decision! The location is beautiful and super close to Kejimkujik. We had the romance, pharaoh, and grey wolf rooms. Each one was decorated very nicely, the beds were comfortable, and the jacuzzi tubs were the cherry on top. Mark was a fantastic host. He was super nice and helpful. Their puppy and goats were so cute and it was awesome to be able to meet them and pet them. The breakfast was very nice. Highly recommend staying here!

Stayed here with my kids a couple of times. The place is great and breakfast was delish. They have a games room with TV,darts, pool, and hockey games. Wifi worked without any issues. There is also a fairly big indoor pool the kids loved. The location is 10mins from Keji and perfect if you want to enjoy the park but not able to camp.

We stayed one night at the motel as we, on one hand, couldn’t find any other place to stay and on the other hand visited the National Park the next morning which is just 10 minutes away. The house itself is old (from 1912, if I remember right), however in good condition. Our room (it was the Holland) was nice and clean. Everything looked a little bit like in grandma’s house For breakfast eggs cooked to order were served; cereals and some yoghurts were available as well. In addition you can sit outside enjoying sun and nature. The owner was very nice and provided a lot of information about the house and the surrounding. Make sure you had something to eat (or bring some food) before you arrive as there isn’t anything around. We will definitely come back if we are in the area!
